The new Worth Lithium Edge TST Slow Pitch Softball Bat offers the high performance and durability the Worth name continues to produce. The Lithium Edge contains the Lithium Edge alloy. It incorporates proprietary bulk metal filtration causing much lower impurity levels for maximum strength and toughness. This alloy advantage includes increased flex and more power. The TST shell is 7 percent thinner than the traditional EST shell; this creates better whip. The TST has a thin performance shell but is more durable than single wall bats. Worths new Whiplash tension process stretches a thin tube into shape with hyper-thin walls. Therefore, Whiplash designs have the Lithium Edge enhanced with features of maximum bending to increase swing speed and power. Whiplash Technology reduces the thickness of taper sections for more flex. But the technology also creates lighter overall frames. The end result is a decision between hyper-lite weight bats and/or much longer barrels. The bat also gets a longer barrel with the X-Long barrel and a bigger sweet spot. At the end of the barrel is a perimeter weighted plug. This creates 5 percent more inertia to drive through the ball. The leather grip gives you more traction on the handle allowing you to handle the bat with even more control. The bat features a Diamond Blast finish giving it the cutting edge graphics.
